Diamet’s alloy powder cores and transformers for TriMagiC Converter™ (TMC) are designed for next-generation power systems requiring high frequency operation, high power density, and high efficiency.
Target applications include AI data centers, telecommunications equipment, industrial systems, and mobility-related power electronics, where compact size, thermal performance, and energy efficiency are increasingly important.
Conventional ferrite cores often face limitations such as magnetic saturation, heat generation, and larger transformer size under high-current and high-frequency conditions. Diamet’s alloy powder cores feature low permeability and high saturation flux density, making them highly suitable for TMC’s unique ON-ON / ON-OFF operation. Even under flux-superposition conditions, they maintain high saturation margin and stable performance.
Currently, Diamet is evaluating transformers for 1.6 kW and 3.3 kW isolated DC-DC converters, while also expanding development toward AI data center PoL converters (48V → 1V / 150A) and 800V HVDC rack power systems. -

iamet’s alloy powder cores and TMC transformers are developed based on magnetic material technologies optimized for high saturation flux density, low core loss, and high-frequency operation.
A key advantage is their ability to maintain stable magnetic characteristics even under biased flux conditions. While conventional high-permeability ferrite cores are susceptible to magnetic saturation during asymmetric PWM or ON-ON operation, Diamet’s alloy powder cores provide much higher saturation margin, enabling both miniaturization and high efficiency.
In TriMagiC Converter™, the alternating ON-ON / ON-OFF operation partially cancels magnetic flux, reducing magnetic flux variation (ΔB) and significantly lowering core losses. This contributes to lower temperature rise, higher efficiency, and further downsizing of power supplies.
Diamet offers several proprietary material series, including the MBS-RA6 and MBS-RXA families. MBS-RA6 is a standard high-permeability material, while the MBS-RXA series is being developed as a next-generation low-loss material for higher-frequency applications.
