Diamet will showcase its next-generation power conversion technology, the “TriMagiC Converter™ (TMC),” focusing on compact and highly efficient power supplies enabled by advanced magnetic component design.
TMC integrates the functions of the main transformer and output inductor used in conventional PSFB converters, reducing magnetic component volume to approximately one-third and overall power supply size to about two-thirds. Its unique alternating ON-ON / ON-OFF operation suppresses magnetic flux variation (ΔB), significantly reducing core loss while achieving high efficiency without SiC/GaN devices.
At the booth, visitors can compare a 1.6 kW prototype with conventional designs through actual hardware, thermal distribution, and efficiency data. The prototype achieves 97.2% efficiency with dramatic size reduction.
We will also introduce future TMC applications, including a 48V-to-1V, 150A high-current PoL converter developed jointly with Nagoya University.
In addition, Diamet will exhibit its proprietary alloy powder core materials, including the MBS-RA6 and MBS-RXA series, designed for high permeability and low loss in next-generation high-frequency power systems.

TriMagiC Converter™ (TMC) is primarily targeted at high-power power supply applications requiring compact size, high efficiency, and high power density. Currently, we are developing and evaluating isolated DC-DC converters in the 1.6 kW and 3.3 kW classes, targeting applications such as data centers, industrial equipment, and telecommunications systems where both high efficiency and compact design are essential.
In particular, power supplies for AI data centers are facing increasing demands for higher output power, higher-density packaging, and improved thermal performance. By integrating the functions of the main transformer and output smoothing inductor required in conventional PSFB converters, TMC significantly reduces the number and volume of magnetic components, contributing to smaller and lower-loss power supplies. -

TriMagiC Converter™ employs a unique ON-ON & ON-OFF operating topology while maintaining the same control method as conventional phase-shift full-bridge converters. The technology reduces magnetic component volume to approximately one-third and power supply size to approximately two-thirds of conventional designs. It also enables output capacitor reduction, lower magnetic losses, and high-efficiency ZVS operation. High power density can be achieved using standard silicon MOSFETs without requiring SiC or GaN devices. Joint development and prototype evaluations are currently underway with research institutes and power supply manufacturers.

The TriMagiC Converter™ PoL Converter is a next-generation Point-of-Load power supply designed for compact, high-current conversion from 48V to 1V. Its unique topology utilizes the transformer as an equivalent Buck inductor, enabling high-current output with excellent transient response. Combined with ZVS soft switching and low magnetic flux density operation, it delivers high efficiency and high power density for AI servers and GPU platforms. This project is being developed in collaboration with Nagoya University.
