This product is a machining sample that utilizes indexing and simultaneous 5-axis machining on a 5-axis machining center to achieve high precision in complex port shapes. While the surface quality and shape accuracy inside the port significantly impact fluid performance, 5-axis machining technology enables high-precision machining of curved shapes and undercuts, which are difficult to achieve with 3-axis machining centers.
Furthermore, by approaching from multiple directions, smooth curved surfaces can be formed while avoiding tool interference, resulting in both excellent fluid properties and high machining quality. It can meet a wide range of needs, from prototype development to performance evaluation and pre-production verification.

This product utilizes a machining technology that reduces the production time from approximately two months to about two weeks by using cutting processes, eliminating the need for molds and specialized jigs required in conventional sheet metal and press working. It precisely processes thin-walled shapes as thin as 0.4mm, achieving complex shapes comparable to those produced by press-formed parts.
Furthermore, because mold and jig costs are eliminated, it contributes to reducing initial costs in prototype development and small-lot production.
In addition, our unique machining know-how using four-sided indexing combined with 3-axis and 5-axis machines allows us to handle thin-walled parts that were previously mainly produced by press working. Our flexibility in accommodating design changes shortens development time and streamlines evaluation cycles, meeting a wide range of needs from prototyping to pre-production evaluation.
