    It is ideal for quality inspection of chip power inductors and ultra-compact coils used in smartphones, PCs, automotive electronics, and IoT devices. These coils, which have few turns and extremely low inductance, were difficult to inspect using conventional impulse testers because they could not apply sufficient voltage. This device enables the application of high voltage to coils with ultra-low inductance as low as 100 nH, allowing for 100% inspection and quality assurance through impulse testing (layer short detection) on the production line.

    Our proprietary 4-terminal testing method enables the application of high-voltage pulses to ultra-low-inductance coils. With ultra-high-speed testing—10 msec without evaluation and 18 msec with evaluation—which represents the industry’s highest standard, this directly contributes to reducing takt time on mass production lines. High-resolution 300 MHz sampling and 12-bit voltage resolution ensure high-precision detection of even minute insulation defects. The lineup includes two models—the DWX-300LI3a (max. 300 V) and the DWX-01LI3a (max. 1000 V)—allowing you to select the optimal test voltage based on the coil characteristics.

Notices (English) The supported inductance ranges are L-LO (0.01 μH to 1 μH) and L-HI (1 μH to 100 μH). The applied voltage ranges from 1 to 300 V for the DWX-300LI3a, and from 3 to 1000 V for the DWX-01LI3a. Waveform sampling is 300 MHz with 12-bit resolution. With RS-232C and I/O support, automation and external control are easy. Some functions and performance features are patented.
