Conventional arc flash gear is heavy and bulky, worn only during specific tasks. However, protecting lives from unpredictable electrical accidents , we should to wear a PPE every time. But it is not easy to wear a heavy/valky wear for all day long.
The GORE-TEX® brand booth features Midori Anzen’s "ARCTECT2 VERDEXCEL," breaking conventions with unprecedented lightness and high mobility via stretch fabric. It offers superior protection alongside lightweight comfort, excellent breathability, and stretchability. This ensures easy body temperature regulation in confined spaces like cubicles or during hot summers, maintaining worker focus. Experience "Comfort is Safety" firsthand.
• Display & Try-on Area: Feel the lightness and mobility of "ARCTECT2 VERDEXCEL".
• PYRAD® Technology: Learn about the unique mechanism that instantly forms an insulating char layer to block heat transfer.
• Target Industries: Optimal safety solutions for high-voltage risks in automotive (EV), power utilities, infrastructure, construction, and factory maintenance.

Exhibited products (English) PYRAD® Product Technology by GORE-TEX LABS® as a Arc protective textile for Class 2 PPE.

With the global shift toward electrification, safety measures against "arc flash"—an explosive, high-temperature plasma phenomenon (5,000°C–20,000°C) caused by short circuits—are crucial. Standard uniforms risk ignition or melting, leading to severe burns.
At the GORE booth, we will showcase "ARCTECT2 VERDEXCEL," a high-performance uniform developed by Midori Anzen. It features innovative PYRAD® Product Technology by GORE-TEX LABS®, balancing exceptional comfort with robust arc resistance.
It achieves the highest class, "APC 2" (Box test (7kA/400V/0.5s) under IEC 61482-2 ). This "multi-norm" design also meets international standards for heat/flame, welding, high visibility (Class 2), and anti-static properties, with flame-retardant materials used even for trims. We bring world-class safety to Japanese worksites where clear arc flash standards are not yet established.
