FloatArm: An articulated robotic arm that moves as flexibly as a snake and can acquire the high-precision data needed for inspections even in narrow, low visibility environments. The end-effector at the tip can be equipped with a camera, UT sensor, thermo-vision, and 3D scanner, enabling visual inspection, wall thickness measurement, temperature measurement, and 3D measurement.

SQUID: A robot developed to perform inspections of boiler facilities “faster, safer, and more accurately. It continuously scans water pipes from the inside. Inspection results are displayed on a 2D map showing wall thickness in colors, making it possible to visualize the wall thickness of the water pipe. This makes repair work more effective and quicker, as areas that do not meet the specified thickness standard can be clearly identified. In addition, Squid does not require cutting the water pipe to be inspected or accessing it from outside the pipe to be inspected, reducing the amount of scaffolding used (or in some cases eliminating the need for scaffolding) and significantly shortening the preparation time required for inspection, leading to reduced costs and facility downtime.
