Takasago Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. provides advanced solutions for the chemical industry through its expertise in mixing technology and plant engineering. At this exhibition, we will showcase our core technologies in agitator impellers and shaft sealing systems.
The high-efficiency “Home Base Impeller (HB Impeller),” jointly developed with Nagoya Institute of Technology, delivers superior mixing performance through its unique home-base-shaped design. Installation results have shown improved deodorization efficiency, shorter dissolution and cleaning times, and enhanced reaction rates.
Visitors can view actual equipment models demonstrating the impeller structure and flow characteristics, and consult with our staff regarding equipment upgrades and improvements to existing mixing tanks.
We will also introduce the “Takasago Multi-Fit Seal (TMS),” a newly developed shaft sealing system designed to improve on conventional gland packing and dry seals. TMS reduces shaft wear and minimizes contamination, making it suitable for chemical, food, and functional material applications requiring strict quality control.

The key features of the Home-Base Impeller can be summarized by three “S”s:
1. Simple [Simple geometric design]
Its simple structure enables short delivery times and cost-effective manufacturing. It is also easy to clean, making it suitable for multi-product, small-batch production.
2. Stable [Stable flow pattern]
Even when the Reynolds number (viscosity) or liquid level changes, the flow pattern inside the vessel during agitation remains highly stable. This ensures consistent productivity even with viscosity changes during reaction processes or fluctuations in production volume.
3. Speedy [Rapid mixing]
Compared to other impellers, it quickly establishes a uniform flow pattern throughout the vessel, enabling fast and efficient mixing.
