The motor market continues to expand due to the electrification of automobiles and the automation of industries. Amid growing demands for reduced environmental impact and improved energy efficiency, motors are increasingly required to be smaller, more efficient, lower in cost, and more resource-efficient. To address these needs, motor design continues to evolve, and we believe that our hot-deforming technology for neodymium magnets, which enables free shape and orientation control, can contribute to this evolution. As a concrete example, we have confirmed an improvement in motor torque by applying crescent-shaped/orientation-controlled magnets to automotive drive motors in actual equipment. We also introduce the characteristics of hot-deformed magnets, including shape/orientation control technology, low CO2 emissions, and motor design examples.
Additionally, we are showcasing samples of our product lineup, including NdFeB bonded magnets and SmFeN bonded magnets.
